Casey Praznik, Coach
Casey started playing volleyball in middle school. She moved to Georgia in 2006 and played for North Forsyth High School and A5 Volleyball Club for three years.
Besides playing throughout middle and high school, she’s helped coach many camps. “I love seeing the kids learn something new and actually understand it,” says Casey. “I also love watching them just have fun and enjoy the game. I want to motivate the players to do better and give their all 100 percent of the time.”
Coaching has always been something she knew she wanted to do. “I have had a variety of coaches throughout my years, and will pass along the best things I have learned from them,” she says.
She has worked with her little sister a lot in the gym and in the driveway, and when she finally grasps a concept, it makes Casey feel like she’s accomplished something in making her a better player. “That would have to be my favorite thing about coaching so far,” she says.
As a player, her teams finished 8th at AAU’s in Orlando in 2008, was All County 2006-2009, All Region 2007-2009, and she was on the All Star senior team 2009.
This is Casey’s fourth year coaching with ProLink VBC. She is the head coach of our 14-1 National team and the assistant for 18 National.
